Capital Supports has two categories: Assistive Technology, and Home Modifications. Each item is usually specified in the plan and requires a quote.

Category 1

Assistive Technology

What this covers

Equipment that supports mobility, personal care, communication and recreational inclusion, wheelchairs, communication devices, hoists, vehicle modifications, and similar.

What Spot On delivers

We do not supply assistive technology equipment. Where a participant has equipment already and needs help installing, fitting or maintaining it within the home, we can quote for the practical work.

Home Modifications

What this covers

Changes to a participant's home that improve accessibility, safety or independence, bathroom modifications, ramps, grab rails, doorway widening, accessible kitchen elements, and similar.

What Spot On delivers

Bathroom modifications, non-slip surfaces, grab rails, shower seat installation, accessible shower screens, accessible vanities and taps. See our caulking and sealing and handyman services pages for related operational detail.
Access works, internal and external ramps, threshold ramps, handrails along corridors and steps.
Safety upgrades, improved lighting, lever taps, accessible door handles, removal of trip hazards. Related: preventative maintenance.
